Buffalo Chicken Sweet Potato Crust Pizza

Inspired from the Kitchen of Alex, I’ve turned her unbelievable buffalo chicken pizza into a personal sized one! But down let it fool you, this thing is as big as the plate ๐Ÿ™‚


IMG_3465Words do not fully express my love for everything in this pizza and to top it all off, it’s healthy! (Disclaimer – there are approximately 235 million definitions of healthy and I am not a nutritionist…)


  • 1 Sweet potato
  • 1 Egg
  • Apple cider vinegar
  • Assorted seasonings (salt, garlic powder, parsley)
  • Ranch
  • Buffalo sauce
  • 1/4 Cup mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 Cup shredded buffalo chicken
  • Handful of vegetables of your choice



  • Microwave sweet potato wrapped in wet paper towel about 7-8 minutes
  • Peal sweet potato and mash in small bowl
  • Add egg, splash of apple cider vinegar, and seasonings to taste
  • Spray baking sheet with non-stick spray
  • Form crust with mixture on sheet
  • Bake at 400 degrees until at desired texture – about 15 minutes


  • Have shredded buffalo chicken handy (feel free to buy a rotisserie chicken, shred it and add buffalo sauce and ranch, or buy a chicken breast and Google one of the 6,000 recipes that can explain it better than I will!)
  • Once crust is complete, use buffalo sauce and ranch as pizza sauce
  • Top with cheese
  • Add shredded chicken and veggies
  • Bake for an additional 5 minutes or until baked to your liking
